Founded in 2022 by Juntaek Hong, ORIGINAL SAMPLE is a Los Angeles-based fashion brand that artfully blends Korean traditional culture with streetwear fashion.

Drawing inspiration from the perspective of its creative director, who was born and raised in Korea before immigrating to the United States in 2015, ORIGINAL SAMPLE emerged from the introspective question, "What is my originality?" This query was prompted by the familiarity of the term "original sample" among fashion designers. As a brand, ORIGINAL SAMPLE aims to connect with all individuals who embrace their uniqueness and collaboratively forge new expressions of originality together.

Currently, ORIGINAL SAMPLE operates its own website, offering an exclusive array of custom-made, one-of-a-kind products. Additionally, the brand actively engages and communicates with its audience through its YouTube channel, the ORIGINAL SAMPLE ROOM, as part of its ongoing efforts to develop and establish a distinct brand identity.
